Dear Parents,
As the days start to get longer, spring is around the corner, and you can count the number of months until school ends on one hand, your children are starting to get excited about their summer plans. Whether they are staying home, traveling, or going to camp, soon they will be busy talking your ear off about everything they will do this summer.
Sometimes with all of the excitement, children forget that to be able to do all this they have to successfully complete the school year, and avoid summer school, and even those who don’t, may sometimes face the possibility of forgoing the summer fun in order to retake a failed exam.
In order to help them (and you) avoid a stressful and lackluster summer season we will be conducting two final exam preparation weekends designed to help your children to do well on the government administered final exams.
Weekend #1: Thursday, June 5 – Sunday, June 8. 2008
Preparation for the Math 436 Exam (Exam date: Thursday, June 12, 2008)
Preparation for the English 516 Exam (Exam date: Monday, June 9, 2008)
Preparation for the French Exam (Exams Date: Tuesday, June 10, 2008)
Weekend #2: Thursday, June 12 – Sunday, June 15, 2008
Preparation for the Math 514 Exam (Exam date: Wednesday, June 18, 2008)
Preparation for the History Exam (Exam date: Monday, June 16, 2008)
Preparation for the Physical Science Exam 416 (Exams Date: Thursday, June 19, 2008)
The cost of such a weekend is $360.00 per student per course, and includes accommodations and meals as well as 17 hours of preparation time. The tutorials will be given by school teachers with many years of experience of helping students prepare for these exams, as well as concentrating on the required subject matter for the entire weekend.
